I’m honored to be traveling to Peru in July, on a faith-based medical mission trip to help provide much-needed ophthalmology eye exams and vision care to underserved communities.

As a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant, I will be assisting with comprehensive eye screenings, visual acuity testing, patient education, and helping identify eye conditions that—if left untreated—can drastically affect quality of life. For many individuals we will serve, this may be the first eye exam they’ve ever received.

This mission is rooted in faith, compassion, and service. We believe that restoring sight goes beyond physical vision—it brings hope, dignity, and opportunity, and allows us to reflect God’s love through action.
